I'm not sure they'd enjoy it. This was the schedule for last year:

10am - arrive
10:30 - get in, buy toys
11am - hang out with TF.Net crew
12pm - Bar opens, continue as before but with overpriced beer
1pm - go to pub
3pm - return, buy more toys, hang out till
5pm - event finishes, go into town, find another pub
6-10pm - travel round more pubs, people gradually go home.
1am - Spec and WAR call it a night.

Jolly good schedule. Perhaps Simon and Sven should officially adopt it.

I still haven't booked. It's on my 'do tomorrow' list.

Usually, yes. Ellis Models and Tripitaka have both gone though, so I don't know what their replacements will be like.

Just thought I'd let you all know that bookings are coming in at an astonishing rate this year. We've only had bookings open for 9 weeks but we're already about to hit 100 pre-registrations!

While that may not seem a lot, it means we're well on target to smash the Auto Assembly (and European) attendance record, especially at the rate they are coming in and that's WITHOUT taking into consideration the last minute rush we get in the final 6-8 weeks!

One thing that means is that there is a VERY strong chance that Auto Assembly 2008 will be a TOTAL SELL OUT from pre-registrations alone so I'd strongly recommend that if you're planning on coming along, book up sooner rather than later!

Simon

Payday next week, I'll sort out my cheque then. Then I've gotta start saving up for some TF goodies. Oh! The Humanity of waiting! Plus I need to save some beer vouchers too.

*steps from shadows of inactivity* I will be going again, as ever riding shotgun with Percy. And if he sorts himself out, the grimmonkey might even be joining us.
