Next update (clicky): Optimus Prime's vehicle mode has been unveiled and the paint scheme works better with it then his robot mode. It also has "'til all are gone!" written on the roof which I think is a nice touch. The next figure has also been unveiled: Goldbug, a repaint of Cybertron Hot Shot with a remolded head. Like Prime, the robot mode looks alright but I really like the vehicle mode.
Another piece of news - BotCon have stopped taking orders for the non-attending packages, citing massive demand as the reason. Any further orders they take will be added to a waiting list to see if they up production of the set. Right now though it looks like you'll either have to go to the convention itself or scour eBay for the set. This is pretty crazy as only two figures of the set have been unveiled so far.

Something tells me they're bulls**tting, but then again, they could be telling the truth.  Cos wouldn't it be funny if the ones who bought this years set were thinking that they'd be able to resale them on eBay for the same insane amounts last years set goes for?

I think we should wait until all of the toys have been revealed before we start labelling 'em as the WORST BOTCON EXCLUSIVES EVER!!1!1!!

And so more figures appear! The BotCon page has unveiled Jazz and Grimlock. Jazz is a Cybetron Crosswise figure with a remolded head and repainted with a G1 Jazz colour scheme. The figure itself looks pretty cool, especially with the "Martini" stickers from G1 now saying "massacre". However, I don't see the colour scheme as particularly evil. Grimlock is a repaint of Classics Grimlock in what appears to be Trypticon colours, although they haven't done a very good job of it.
Also, it appears that the BotCon Starscream has been leaked. He's a Cybertron Starscream repainted in Jetfire colours. I hope this isn't a final version of the figure because the colour scheme looks a bit lazy, nice idea though. Seeing this mold makes me want a Cybertron Starscream repainted into Triggerhappy as I think the overall look in robot mode is pretty similar.

Goldbug is alright, but otherwise, boring.

Oh now they're getting lazy.  It's bad enough Jazz looks basically the same as his good Autobot self, but seeing Grimlock and Starscream with nothing more than pallet swaps from Typticon and Jetfire is kinda insulting.

Official images of Starscream and his Minicon Razorclaw have appeared on the BotCon figures page. The colour scheme looks better on Starscream in this picture than the grainy leaked one of a few days back. Razorclaw I just don't get at all. They chould have repainted Cybertron Snarl at least and given a figure more in scale with the rest of the set.

And they're all gone! BotCon have confirmed that all Shattered Glass sets have sold out. Anyone who pre-orders now will get the 2005 Decent into Evil set. I'd actually prefer this one as the Ironhide would make  nice Classics Ironhide. Also, I love the RiD Megatron mold and an original Deathzarus is too expensive for me.

You have to wonder how many have sold to people who want them, and how many have gone to scalpers who think these'll go up in value like the seekers.

Final figure is up and is a red coloured version of Jazz named Ricochet. Seems to be inspired by the Binaltech Zoom Zoom

Hmm... in one respect it's better than Jazz because they didn't copy Stepper's colour scheme, but it also looks kinda meh cos of the Zoom Zoom (ugh, I hate that name) likeness.
