Yes! My take on this was that the transformers have done away with mass conversion (maybe part of the Pax-Cybertronia? too energy consuming?) and stay in a size consistant with their robot mode. I reckon they are all around 6ft to 9ft tall, with Optimal Optimus towering over them as the size of say, Bluestreak following his run-in with another spark (just in case others haven't seen!).

I think the Tfs of the future may have evolved out of Micromaster tech and all downsized to conserve energy. A possible by product of this would mean they are better able to interact with other lifeforms.
