Good stuff throughout! I've gotten used to Bulkhead's over-roundness now. It suits his personality well. The animation of Starscream's face still bugs me but I think I'll get over that. I think the thing the amazed me the most was Blitzwing having some cheesy accent voice and me not being disgusted by it. In fact, I love the three face idea. I think the humans could get a little annoying at times, but there'd be no surprise there. I think the ony character I didn't like the look of was Sentinel Prime but that's only judging by his face. I think the best thing for me was there wasn't a single character I outright disliked. Megatron in particular is the badnass he should be. Like Master Megatron in Galaxy Force, he's stronger and more powerful than almost all the Autobots together - just what a Decepticon leader should be. The show also seems eager to please the fans as well, what with the G1 scenes at the start, G1 transforming sound, the Allspark opening up like the Matrix to reveal a big blue ball inside and the cameos of Spike, Carly and Daniel. My chief issue is that they're not robots in disguise in the slightest. I'm also not sure what to think of the villians being mainly human. Shall have to wait and see, can't wait for the next episode. Oh yeah, and the figures, whenever Hasbro sort that debacle out..

Just finished watching it myself to here's my 2 cents:
Animation style is growing on me, though i could really do without the excessive movements in vehicle modes.
Voicework is a major improvement over the dubs of the Unicron Trilogy. The accents this time seem to fit the characters better then what we got stuck with in Cybertron.
Interesting idea with Prime being more of a rookie commander and the hints that there is more to his backstory is welcoming but at the moment he reminds me more of a Hot Rod/Hot Shot character for me then a Prime. Going to take some getting used to.
As mentioned, Ratchet is Kup with an ambulance alt mode
Despite my own reservations about the Prowl design, it works well with their characterisation him. Can't ever beat the whole Ninja thing.
Looks like Bumblebee is stuck in the Energon Ironhide/Cybertron Jolt role with being the best friend/guardian of the kid. While a nice homage to his G1 character and role, for me the jury is still out here.
Can't stand Bulkhead. To me he's just the generic strong and dumb bot. They need to work on him or he'll get oushed aside as more characters are introduced.
Starscream is more like his G1 self again, but I miss GF Screamer
Clips from 'War Dawn' and the Witwicky cameo make for nice little touches.
Overall, a nice start with a lot of potential. Beats the stuffing out of the premiere eps of RID, Armada and Energon but still has a way to go to match Galaxy Force.

I quite agree actucally, so far, doesn't keep me on the edge of the seat like Galaxy Force. Their personalities really helps the cartoon, but I guess thats expected.

Yeah, it's gonna be hard to beat Galaxy Force Starscream. He was based on his War Within version which a) looks great and b) ticks the "G1 homage in cartoon" box and he just had the most fantastically evil personality. Master Megatron had the outright strength and power but Starscram had the mind.

I have a few G1 annuals but I have no idea in which order they come and thus no idea which one is the second one, or even if I have it. Care to enlighten us Mr. Spec?

Oh, and one other thing: Prime's axe is awesome. If they made a replica of it I'd easily get it.

I thought it was rather good. Beats Galaxy Force, and is currently rushing up to the other Western Series. Had me laughing a lot of the way through with the general fanbase and Transformers piss-takes scattered throughout.
Unsure if it will beat Beast Wars though, it doesn't have the seriousness to reach the scope of Mainframe's stuff. We'll see though.
