I thoroughly enjoyed it. Had a few laughs ('specially Primes expression on human reproduction), decent animation and voice work. Good stuff.

Here's the Witwicky's for those who missed it;

Send a 700Mb file over MSN?! How long would that take?!

I send files over msn that big in about an hour. I sent my brother 300 in about half an hour. Depends on the other person's internet, mines rather fast at file transfer.

Must be the Messenger software for Macintosh then. I have a 16Mbps connection and my file ransfer rates are just appalling. It can take up to five minutes to send a megabyte, so I don't really bother with it anymore.

I immensely enjoyed it. It did drag a little bit during the bug battle, but it's forgivable. Very promising start; the cast is great, the characters are full of potential, the backstory is there for development, the humans are not annoying, for a change (I'm so very surprised that Sari actually offers things in the show) and I even lol'ed at the jokes.

I could do without the twitching car modes and the Allspark key, though. And I hope the Autobots get to wield guns at some point. Optimus should always have a rifle.

i enjoyed it immensely - prowl definetly a favorite chrachter of mine i love his look.
I do think though they should have kept ironhide as the grumbling old veteran instead of having it as ratchet.
Having prime as a rookie hero instead of hardened war vet like the previous series is a nice touch.

all in all if you can get past the dodgy animation a very enjoyable series

Really enjoyed it. Thought the ending was a bit of a fudge but other than that. Yeah great start to a series. Has the potential for character development as the characters are already developed with bits of backstory coming through very intriguing.

lol  I found interesting about characters check out;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformers:_Animated

Confirmed characters are:

[edit] Autobots

  • Optimus Prime: The de-facto leader of the Autobots on Earth, transforms into a futuristic fire truck, and wields an axe. He washed out of Autobot Academy.[8]
  • Bumblebee: The youngest member of the group. Has a retractable battle mask. Transforms into a vehicle similar to his Transformers Classics version. He and Bulkhead seemed to be best friends. He was the first Autobot to meet Sari after saving her upon being reawakened.[8]
  • Ratchet: Seasoned Autobot medic and veteran of the war against the Decepticons. Transforms into an Ambulance.[8]
  • Bulkhead: Tough Autobot. Transforms into a military truck. He wields two grapplers in his hands.[8]
  • Prowl: A ninja-style Autobot who initially rejects teamwork and prefers to act on his own. His alt-mode is a Motorcycle. [8]
  • Ultra Magnus: Supreme Autobot Commander and member of the Cybertron Elite Guard. His alt-mode resembles a Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck
  • Sentinel Prime: Autobot Officer and member of the Cybertron Elite Guard, Optimus Prime's rival. His alt-mode is a Monster Truck
  • Jazz: Second in command of the Autobots with a sports car alt-mode. Member of the Cybertron Elite Guard.
  • Ironhide: Member of the Cybertron Elite Guard. Robot mode is similer to Ratchets cybertron mode.
  • Blurr: May be similar to his G1 incarnation. Speaks very fast.
  • Arcee: Robot mode is similar to the G1 version.
  • Wreck-Gar: A Waste collection vehicle that allies himself with the autobots.

[edit] Dinobots

Originally animatronic dinosaurs from a local theme park, their upgrade by Professor Sumdac results with them developing minds of their own and going on a rampage, bent on destroying the Autobots at first.

[edit] Decepticons

  • Megatron: The leader of the Decepticons; alternate mode is a helicopter gunship. He is betrayed at the beginning of the series by Starscream and caught in an explosion that cripples the Autobots craft. Claims to have been searching for the Allspark for 4 million solar cycles (Roughly 11 thousand years). Presently his damaged Head is hooked up to a central computer at Sumdac Tower.[8]
  • Starscream: Much in the spirit of G1 Starscream, wants to usurp Megatron. He was the first Decepticon to reach Earth. Transforms into a jet.[8]
  • Blitzwing: A Triple Changer (tank, jet, robot) with a new spin — a split personality and changing faces to match his personalities. This is represented by a spinning face gimmick on the toy.[8] Has a face based on G1.
  • Lugnut: A incredibly strong Decepticon with a sense of absolute loyalty to Megatron. Lugnut has missiles for hands and alt-mode of a jet.[8]
  • Blackarachnia: One of the more complicated Decepticons, her alt-mode is a black-purple techno-organic spider.[8]
  • Soundwave: His alt-mode is now based on a Scion xB and his minion Laserbeak now transforms into a guitar. Similar color as his G1 version.
  • Lockdown: A combination of a 1980s style black Corvette and 1960s Cougar hybrid design with a Supercharger. He is calculating and has been described as being like Boba Fett (Bounty Hunter); has a hook for a right hand.

thanks

Wreck-gar? That's a new one on me. Should be interesting to see him in Animated as he was always a pretty bizarre character anyway.

Arcee: Robot mode is similar to the G1 version. Happy about this and not, as long as she is not a bike, Thank God Prowl got that forehand. I found the Cartoon series had potential, just did not like the Human Characters they were a bit Annoying shades of Armada.. I hope not. And I hated when they talked in their Alt-Modes that the bounced around! Starscream was par excellence, just how he should be a first class. I just hope this all comes about and does not stray. as I said great start and mix of G1 and Baybots.

Not particularly. I think stereotyping asian characters as being corner shop owners is pretty out of order.

It was based on how they speak and not what the are! and is about a racist as all the German jokes I have to put up with. Just because a large population of Asians live in England and not Germans where's the difference?I am not racist nor is my comment written as one. If so I would not be meeting up with Overlord lighten up SLL as you and Baldrick always say to me.

I know you're not racist. But, people seeing you comment on asian characters as corner shop owners can easily be taken as such.

I'm just trying to stop you getting in trouble with the mods!
