Do the constructicons combine? I need to know whether to get excited or not.

There's only two of em.  What are they gonna do? "CONSTRUCTICONS! COMBINE TO FORM HALF A LEG AND AN ARM!" Maybe more turn up laters. Although I liked that they were both huge compared to the other Autobots.

Two Transformers have combined before. In fact it was quite regular in the Micron Trilogy. Convoy + Jetfire, Grand Convoy + Wing Saber and Galaxy Convoy + Liger Jack spring to mind. I personally don't think they will combine though. We'll probably have a better idea when their figures are revealed.

Awww, come on, they were fun. Mix's butt crack cracked me up every time it was shown. The only thing that would have madethat ep better, was if Mix wolf whistled at that red car.

It was so much easier in the old days. There were autobots and decepticons, no grey characters, the bad guys were just evil, the good guys were just good. I miss the olden days...

Another good Decepticon-oriented episode (may start skipping the human villain ones, they add nothing to the show).

And I wish they'd do something with the Dinobots and Blackarachnia. Have we seen or heard anything of BA since Megatron Rising, and the Dinobots are pretty useless if they're just going to sit on their island.

Starscream was great.  Does raise the question of what exactly will damage megatron though, since apparently 2 bombs at close range will not.  Wonder if thundercracker and skywarp will be products of starscreams robot clones?

Good episode, but how did Starscream create all those copies and how did he escape from the bonds.

And what has Lockdown been up to all this time.

Sunstorm's on his way, along with a female Seeker too. Seems Starscream's clone army gets a mind of its own.

You mean the days of 2D characters? No, I don't miss them.

I am very peaved of the lack of usage of the dinobots I keep expecting them to turn around and do something heroic and autobot like but they without fail disapoint. I hope they have a pay off at some point.

They're just there to sell toys. I recall a interview or discussion where the writer's revealed that they wanted to keep the cast small so they could focus on them.

Seems like they are sticking true to that mission statement; Only introducing new characters to sell the toys and then remove them from the show.

Even so, there's no excuse for the disappearance for Black Arachnia.

Great episode.

It would be a shame if the Dinobot were never more than bit-parts but if the writers want to keep the cast small I can easily see it going that way. Soundwave needs to make a return as Hasbro need to bring Lazerbeak in at some point. It would be daft for a character to be lacking one of his key features in the show.
I too think Black Arachia should return. She was one of the original Decepticons on board the ship at the start and we need closure on her past whether she can purge the organic components from her systems or what.
As for the episode itself, it was enjoyable but just because it has Decepticons in it. Lockdown was a welcome feature for me, especially with the dirty poncho he had on at the start. I'm wondering how Hasbro will sell Prowl's sidecar - will it just be a second version of the figure with it included or maybe they'll go for a different figure class a lá leader class Bulkhead. Prowl's overall image with the mods attached was defintely a good one and it's a good opportunity for a gimmick-laden figure.

I'm hoping for a second version of the deluxe figure. Gives me an excuse to skip the first version.

For me, this is is one the best eps we've had. Seeing Prowl not only going a bit gung-ho with his new mods but teaming up with Lockdown was a great step for the character.

On the subject of the Dino's, I can see why the writers are trying to keep the cast numbers down and welcome it. It would be nice though to see a proper Dino-centric ep instead of them just be being the bit part players.

Not sure about the last 3 episodes. Pedalling one toy in the show after another. Just seems to be going back and forth. And feeding us with cool little hints of the past "dare to be stupid"  all in all amusing to see but easily forgotten.

Lockdown is pure heavy metal. I mean he looks like General Grievous in corpsepaint. With a damn hook for a hand.
