The Dinobots are pretty cool, wish Slag and Swoop did more.

Do you think they will bring Snarl and Sludge in?

You must have missed the news about that episode being skipped.

Yeah that'd gonna be great! Doesn't Grimlock's tail become his sword? I think from the prototype grey pics the flames were able to shoot out of the side of the sword, though I could be wrong.

Animated Grimlock's tail won't be used for a sword, as it's a part of his leg transformation like it was on G1 Grimlock.

An excellent episode. Didn't see these G1/movie references, aside from the Dinobots themselves, though. I don't understand why Total Meltdown was skipped though as the villian does show up later in the series so it'd make no sense making an episode where he's created and then not show it. Love Grimlock's robot mode and the sword too! Just waiting for the Decepticons now and in particular Megatron's return!

Megatron's return is what I'm looking forward to aswell. Probably because it's got such a build up and it's so far away.

Are you kidding me!

Bulkhead takes down slag..and says 'excuseeee me!' Slag says that line when he tramples down the quint courtroom door in the movie.

The island that Prowl and Bulkhead train on is a nod to Dinobot Island.

There is a 'Car Robots' ref, Grimlock constantly says how bad car robots are for using fossil fuel...a micky take at the actual CR series.

A Beast Machines ref was thrown in too....Megs is nowt but a head right now, and he spoke of creating a 'Drone Army'.....

Im sure there are others too.....

So obviously the title is more significant than just referencing the fact they're Dinosaurs.

I have to say it's such a nice change to finally have them back.

Now that you mention it, I did get the Car Robots and Dinobot Island ones but the rest were lost to me. Seems this series is going down well with both collectors and the child audience too. It shows Hasbro can make a great Transformers series, they just have a bad record of dubbing them.

They really should make more series from scratch. This is proving so far to be my favourite modern series.

I think what surprised me the most about this episode is just how good David Kaye was as Grimlock.

Not to mention his Grimlock even had my mum laughing over that bit about nature.
