How about "if
you’re easily offended stay out, stay clear Thread?" Where things can be discussed
where you can unwind and let your feelings go without going overboard of course
meaning, (no swearing, no Porno stuff or hate) Conversations over reality
things that might be tad touchy for some. Things in the News or read in News
papers and so on. Maybe making it for over 18's? It saves anyone answering and
posting "I don't think that's right" or "that's not fair"
This lets grown ups be grown ups and stops Finger pointing from various people.
After all, we have all *cough* well most of us posted silly stuff or things of
a touchy nature (not just Blaster) Things in the General news, Religion,
Politics, Britney.. Etc. here people can stay clear if they think they will be
offended or hurt. Just to unwind from the TF stuff. After reading back, way
back! Some Bans and Bad taste Arguments in this Forum could have been easily avoided,
as well as misread threads and points of views, if one was aloud to explain him
or herself before been jumped on or burnt at the steak. Freedom of speech to a
certain degree. And NO I am not unhappy with the Forum or bored. I have studied this well and looked back and l checked out the Pros and Cons, fact is it is an open Forum and we are not all under 18 or 21.

It wouldn't work, it'd be like having the adult forum again. Fine in practice, but ultimately results in total chaos so it needs to be removed.

I was not aware of it. Being fine in theory! At least my thread was not misjudged and mistaken from the word go. Although I agree with the chaos theory, which is inevitable. I just wish we had a Thread for people like you and me over 18 (hope I am not being to forward Nem ) and Moderated from someone just as mature. Although I admit it would be trying at some point, but also relaxing talking about certain levels in our society without somebody pointing the fact out it is wrong or as I say (bloody obvious).

While an over 18 section would be nice and all. I just feel like it'd attract the same kind of material Freefalll used to post in the old adult forum, and that is something I do not want to see on here again under any circumstances.

Agreed 101% However that was not the reason for my askings. I just meant News Stuff in General.. I wont open a can of worms and name names or titles. Just something watched over with a certain decorum and opened minded opinion on our day to day lives and things in our day to day lives. NOT Freefall stuff and as mentioned Porno Stuff ETC.

I get what your saying, but unless it is properly moderated so the discussions don't become too heated and degenerate into slanging matches between members, I still can't see it working.

No. Its not fun and its not clever, and it doesnt work.
All the wrong material will appear in there, and will be a breeding ground for flaming and trolls.

Your reply is duly noted, however I was having a talk.. a conversation about the plan, I am not quite sure of you role or your father figure position (no offence nemesis) so I will be blunt as you have been to me in the past....

I see. Fact that we have as far as I can read it, more than enough MODS on the forum, correct me if i am wrong. And statistically seen the amount of posts in the last 2 Days were not that much to blank out, however I could b wrong here on that point, so i will say no more. However a lot of us consider this our home, safe heathen from College and work, and just TF talk can get somewhat dry at times. God forbid a crack at the Geek kingdom, but we are mostly mature men on here and I only thought a men's room (thread) for over 18-21 convo could be interesting in between.

Where i agree to an extent, with the previous adult thread, the password was leaked to underage members, and it was ruined.
That, and the amount of disgusting and immoral content posted in the thread was not welcome.

Indeed, and for a time it felt like that section was unmonitored by the powers that be because Freefalll had somehow managed to put off almost everyone barring me and a few others from visiting it.

Not going to shine a light on my own dark times, but there is bad and there is Freefall I guess, gather from some of his last comments. But nobody is perfect I guess. It is a shame something like that can not be kept alive, without abuse like most things nowadays I suppose. White flag is raised, but not for my feeling toward an adult thread overlooked by an adult.
