Blackout and Ironhide.  Ironhide because, besides Optimus, seems like the only Autobot that knows how to fight.  Certainly Jazz wouldn't have taken on Megatron if he actually knew what he was doing.

Agree with you about Prime until the end scene where he totally forgot how to. As for Jazz, awful big sling needed there to slay that Giant, me thinks.

However Jazz was second in command, if he could not handle himself

Lazy writing/directing.  They wanted to show Jazz being a hot head.  Or Jazz was trying to delay Megatron till Prime got there.  He delayed Megatron for 5 seconds.
