My mum went to see it at the cinemas when she was on holiday (only cuz it chucked it down with rain) and she thought it was really good.

Which considering my mum useally watches period dramas and ITV crap - i was surprised she enjoyed Transformers.

But has shown no interest in watching it again on dvd. But has managed to 'borrow' my VHS copy of Masters of the Universe without telling me.

My mum likes the movie more than I do, and my dad isn't all that interested in Transformers anyway.

My parents had no interest whatsoever until I used the DVD to demonstrate my new TV to them. Now they both want to see it.

My entire family enjoyed the movie, especially the Qatar scenes(my Dad's ex-military, and his dad was a career Marine Officer). At first, they thought it would be cheesy, but my parents said they felt like little kids again.

My parents enjoyed the movie. It's an easy movie to enjoy. My current theory is that the only people who disliked the movie are GeeWunners and tough-as-nails movie critics... and galvanize, of course.

Or people who like a little bit more everything for their buck. I'll probably like the second one a lot more now I know the designs will still look like arse and as long as the plot is better and has less holes in it.
