is frenzy more advanced than the others?

1. he is able to survive severe trauma: he still functions even as just a head, bone crusher died decapetated and jazz being torn, all the others died just being shot. frenzy, even with his head cut to bits still manages to speak. 2. he is able to mass shift: his head shrinks into a small skinny cellphone. 3. he has the capability or technology to use the allsparks power to repair himself. 4. he is able to hide his energy signature: the sector 7 TF energy detector device is able to pick up A TFs energy signature even if it is just residue, ( remember when it went beep beep when they pointed it at sam... and went beep crazy when they ran into prime...) yet somehow it didnt go beep in he car when frenzy was so close by in mikaella's purse... even bumblebee couldnt detect him in the purse when he was inside bumble's car mode, when clearly they have the capability to detect other TFs in altmode near them ( it's starscream!!!)  was frenzy built in the later parts of the war? which would explain his more advanced technology? and that he's small coz he was built at a time when resources were low and materials few on cybertron? if frenzy is as advanced as i think he is... i can't wait to see his daddy soundwave..!!

Nah, I think he's more primative, if anything.

First off, the "can't be detected" what S7 used was just a giga counter, picking up radiation Sam, Mikela etc had been in contact with the 'bots in Robot mode. Alt modes may hide the radiation. They couldn't "detect" starscream in Jet mode, they worked out that it was screamer from his behaviour, flying in a manner no air force jet would. The soldiers even comment on this.

As for the point about Frenzy surviving decapitation and Bonecrusher not, and Earthworm can survive being sliced in two, humans cannot - does that make earthworms more advanced than us? Way I see it, Bonecrusher and Jazz's systems are much more complex, and spread out around the rest of the body:-  therefore severing the connections is fatal. Frenzy's is much less sophisticated, therefore is entirely stored in his head, which also explains why the rest of his body is so spindly - it doesn't need to house vital systems, just motors and the like.

He's smaller, because that's his function - infiltration, no other reason. (and because of the point I just made about his systems not taking up so much space)

wait... a giga counter?  so TFs are radioactive? uhm... isnt that a cause for concern? i mean for sam and mikaella to spend so much time around radioactive materials.... he's gonna get cancer if he doesnt start wearing a lead suit of armor. those guys near NBE1 were wearing yellow hazzard suits and his radioactive signature was already blocked by ice. or maybe they wore suits coz it was cold...

The autobots are probably quite radioactive because they have only recently arrived from space. Whereas, the 'cons had been there for a while already, all the radioactive muck from their space travel had probably been washed off. As seen in the 'Starscream takes a shower, gets a massage' deleted scene.

Isn't neccesarily harmful radiation.

Special, that's also a euphemism for people with mental handicaps.

Yeah, that pretty much describes him

is Frenzy the most advanced? Stealth wise Yes, he smuggled himself into her Handbag as her Mobile and was never noticed, by any of the Autobots, so I guess yes he probably is.

Loads of the TFs in the movie mass-shift.

Optimus Prime in robot mode is the same sie as Megatron in jet mode, whose jet mode is the same size as Starscream's who in turn is smaller than Prime in robot mode.

Lots of camera angles stop you from noticing the parts as they disappear. ILM cheated on the designs- they don't quite transform properly: they simply switch the CGI car model for a robot model with lots of shifting parts to give the illusion of transforming.

I'll see if I can find the interview for ya. ^^

Y'know, technically, when you chop an earthworm in half, one half still dies, It's a popular misconception that one worm turns into two, the 'life' of the chopped off half is merely reflexes and spasms that make the worm look like It's still wiggling, much in the same way as a chicken running around with It's head cut off. Or prez talking on msn when drunk.

Whilst I completely agree with you, the "cheating" argument doesn't really score points with me.  Mass shifting IS part of transformers; it IS cannon.  As such I'm happy to accept some mass shifting - though not so much that things look stupid (the old, 50 foot robot into 3inch cassette arguement).

I'm also happy that the movie portrays size changes in such a way that they are more "convincing" than "not obvious".  For instance, there is a scene near the bridge where Bumblebee transformers and you can clearly see a LOT or robot parts going onto his back seat. But it is shot in such a way that it is easy to believe there is further compression once the windows roll up.

I can't remember my point, but I am probably right.

After rereading my post and yours and rethinking it on a hole you are right in some ways. What got me, gets me. Starscream Flies on by, and Ironhide detects him, and in one shot they felt, sensed the Decepticons, but they could not sense Frenzy, weird. That Interview would still be appreciated. The Mass Shifting Theory is abundant in the Film with all the TF I guess, size doe's matter in a way, however  I agree with Prez on the 30ft Tape deck not cool, for today standards.
