Oh this is getting silly now. I'm starting to think Hasbro are leaking figures onto eBay themselves for promotional purposes. Also, every time I check an auction for one of these leaked figures, the high bidder always seems to have a username consisting of 2 random letters or symbols seperated by 3 asterisks. Anyone know anything about that?

to prevent phishing people, ebay now hide bidder names in auctions in certain categories or over a certain value. Or something. They made an announcement about it recently, along with banning downloadable sale stuff, samurai swords and auctions without the option of paying by paypal. So now you know, and knowing is half the battle.
