Still, that's 2 good films more than Boll has managed/will ever manage!
Which two films of Emmerich's would you class as good then? For me, it'd have to be Independence Day and his debut film, Universal Soldier (which eight out of ten cats have no idea was made by him).
There was a rumour going around some time back that Boll was gunning for the directors' job on the Metal Gear Solid movie (assuming it does get greenlit), to which Kojima replied with something along the lines of 'over my dead body'...

At least Boll puts his money where his mouth is. He challenged all the journalists that slagged him off to a boxing match. Those who accepted. . . he beat.
I've never seen a movie made by the guy though, so thats a good thing. Although he does use the tax shelter the german government have to his advantage, so Kudos to him on that.

I've only seen one movie by Uwe Boll. Alone in the Dark, while not very faithful to its video game roots, was not the antichrist.
People are overly critical of Boll. Do you think he really believes he's the only genius filmmaker in the world? He's just trying to get people going and generate publicity.
Heck, him and Bay are probably old college frat brothers or something.

You know he only accepted people he KNEW he could beat after telling them it would just be a PR stunt, and they shouldn't brother training or anything. Anyone he thought might actually put up a decent fight he refused. Still he did beat up Something Awful's Lowtax so, that's something.
