I'm still keeping my eyes peeled for possible Alts/BTs wherever they may be found, so long as they're not selling for stupid amounts of money. It seems that the likes of Prowl and Meister are pretty much lost causes, given their unbelievable scarcity, buit what about, say, blue Tracks, Hound, or Grimlock? Are any of these guys still available anywhere? Wheeljack seems to be the only one still available in high street stores, as Argos and co have apparently stopped stocking Ravage. Is there any hope?

Like most transformers, if you're willing to pay the price you can get any of them. So far the only figure that's eluding me is BT Police Prowl and Grimlock.
I've been lucky and have two BT Meister's on their way - one MIB the other MISB

I just saw blue Alt Tracks at a local toy store today. Twice.

I've got BT Smokescreen, Streak, Sideswipe, Meister, Zoom-Zoom, Yellow Tracks, Hound. I had no idea they were now fairly rare. To be honest, I'm more of a fan of the 'play value' TFs than the 'fiddly fanwank' of Binaltech, even if they do look so damn awesome.

Fiddly Fanwank. What a perfect expression!
I think that it's a case of 'how much are you willing to pay?' for the Binaltech line. I liked the figures and that's about it really.
I'm still missing BT-1 Smokescreen, but I'm going to write that one off and the clear Mirage and Nemisis Prime - then it's down to Yellow Tracks, Grimlock, Overdrive, and the two versions of Prowl.

What about the four Takara-Tomy are releasing soon. Are you going to skip those too?

Get NP! It's a poor mould, but the black does make him tolerable, and the Alt Decepticons need all the help they can get.

I really want Nemisis Prime - but I doubt anyone on the forum here would sell theirs and if they did I wouldn't like to see the price.
I would love to get the whole line including the BTAs and the new releases - I'll just have to see how the funds go. I'm now juggling the Encore line as well as hunting the TFCs.
What is it about plastic crack?

Nemesis Prime won't be as taxing on the ol' wallet as Black Convoy will be. And come to think of it, I'm probably the only one here who actually owns Black Convoy.

Ah, is Nemisis Prime the Black alternator version of the mold? Sorry - I'm a little hazy after the BTA line.
Just for humour, how much is the BT version worth - the best part of £200?

No chance, that is just the going rate by scalpers who are trying to cash in on its exclusive status.

Hm, just what I figured.
I've just seen a couple of stores giving pre-orders for the next BTs; Bluestreak and Silver Meister. What's the bet that the molds have degraded which will affect the parts sitting together in Alt mode?
I have to admit though, I do like the look of the Silver Mazda - the sports kit looks great.

I've seen him for $60-65 on TFW before.
As for Jazz and Bluestreak, Jazz should be OK, but you may want to watch out for Bluestreak. The mould's been used at least 4 times now, and BTA Alert had poor QC.

Of course the Jazz mould could mean trouble too - anyone remember Shockwave?

I didn't find Laserwave that bad - the panels fitted fine.
The worst offender so far bar Red Alert was Sunstreaker - I hated it when the panels wouldn't align.

The right arm has an irritating tendency to pop off, but there's no alignment issues like there are with BTA Alert.

Ah, yes I remember now with Laserwave. Mine's been stored for the best part of a year so my memory's a little hazy.
Red Alert did my head in - the doors wouldn't align at all. Sunstreaker was a little irritating with one door and Broadblast was great.
Still, I will try and track these guys down again. Yup, I have an addiction.

Alt Wheeljack is a great figure - a friend of mine brought me one over from Boston a few years' back.
