I won't quote what you said as I don't wanna reveal the spoiler but the name mentioned there is something I always hoped to see in the new series.

Hurrah!
Also, this is awesome:

Fans of all eras of Doctor Who can look forward to an incredible range
of classic Doctor Who figures and monsters being launched by Character
Options later this year.
Recreate scenes from the classic series
of Doctor Who with the poseable action figures. Each figure pack comes
with a different collectable part of the giant K-1 robot from the
fourth Doctor’s first story in 1974. When all eight packs are
collected, the giant robot will be complete.
Classic figures
include Tom Baker, Peter Davison and Colin Baker. Other figures and
monsters include a Sea Devil (1972), Zygon (1975), Magnus Greel &
Mr Sin (1977), SV7 and D84 (1977).
Also being launched is a
Doctor Who 5 inch Classic Dalek Set – this set of three poseable
Classic Daleks includes Daleks from The Dead Planet, (1963), The Planet
of the Daleks, (1973) and Genesis of the Daleks (1975).
As
master toy licensee Character has enjoyed immense success alongside BBC
Worldwide through its Doctor Who range of products and predicts a
hugely positive response to the new collection, which is due to launch
in August.
Classics Wave 2:
* 7th Doctor Sylvester McCoy Seventh Doctor (1987-1996) Sylvester McCoy without Hat as seen in Ghost Light (1989) * 8th Doctor * Ice Warrior First appeared in The Ice Warriors (1967) as heavily armoured reptiles with claw hands * Morbius Monster

10th Planet Cyberman finished in semi-transparent plastic. As seen in
the four part serial The Tenth Planet (1966), featuring the First
Doctor William Hartnell. In the first ever appearance of The Cybermen
they land at the Antarctic on a mission to relocate all humans to the
planet Mondas for transformation into Cybermen * Voc Robot In green with number stickers * Extra Figure Collect all the figures in the wave to assemble an extra figure, like the K-1 Robot in Wave 1 figure packs

Hey, here's a Who section! Time for a Time Lord to enter!
I'm with Cyber Jam on this. We don't need the Daleks every year, some of the best new series tales thus far have been the ones with new monsters.
Blink: Weeping Angels
The Empty Child: No monsters, but "Mummmmyyy!" does it for me.
Fathers' Day: Reapers (Rip-off of Vortisaurs, but eh)
The Girl in the Fireplace: Clockwork Men
Having said that, last weeks episode has renewed my interest for the Sontarans
I so want those action figures

Yeah, I'm growing Tired of the Daleks, but this season finale will at least be different and fun.

I'm actually NOT looking to seeing that baddie back for another run. I think his story got wrapped up nicley a few years ago. Unless they find a way of using him in a new and interesting way. (No, I don't want to spoil it either).
I stopped collecting the Big Finish audios some time ago, does anybody know if the current crop of stories up to much cop?

I thought this episode was wonderful. I like how Doctor Who includes normal run-of-the-mill characters like Donna's grandad so you can see how all these catastrophies affect everyday people. It also adds a nice human element to the show. You can really see the bond between Donna and her grandfather and I think he's a very good character. Not sure about the next episode with [The Doctor's daughter] showing up. I never really watched the calssic episodes so I don't know how that fits in with canon, or whether the BBC are just making bits up again. I'll still watch it though as it's undoubtably the best thing on TV, IMO.

the next episode seems plausible to me, as there are always other adventures going on between episodes etc in comics or books, plus there was the 15 years without episodes which they could stick it in.

Don't know. But for the moment I'm just assuming she's Susan's time-displaced mother (for those not in the know, The Doctor's very first companion was his Granddaughter Susan).
Bits of this girl reminds me of a character from the novels: Miranda. The eighth Doctor adopted her and she grew up and went off travelling on her own. Although I no longer consider the novels canon, I believe RTD's taking element of that character and making up this lady from that.

The best part is, she's being played by one of the old doctors actual daughters.

She's been in Who before, in the audio story "Red Dawn" with her Dad.
