TRANSFORMERS 25th ANNIVERSARY - 1984-2009

Thanksgiving release to kick off G1 re-issue of original Optimus Prime US version with silver roller. Also includes reprint of issue 1 comic from marvel and more then meets the eye 3 episode digital re-master DVD and a sound box with Cullen quotes. 5 panel window package. Silver foil 25th anniversary logo with classic type package.

They will be celebrating all eras of TFs not just G1.

Universe Deluxe Hound w/ Ravage. G1 type mold. The clips on the back of Hound fit Ravage. Shoulder cannon on Hound comes off.

Universe Deluxe Cyclonus w/ Nightstick Targetmaster. G1 type mold. Nightsitck can be held by Cyclonus. Almost looks black. Very nice.

Universe Deluxe Beast Wars Cheetor. Eyes turn green to red, maybe thats a running change.

All these are all updated modernized sculpts.

Universe Legends Brawn and Beachcomber.

Universe Robot Heroes Cheetor vs Tankor ala Beast Machines.

Optimus vs Megatron ala RID.

There will be another 25th revealed tomorrow that Archer said fans will be very happy about.

Q&A

MP Thundercracker is on their shortlist, they are looking to do as an exclusive in 09 for 25th anniversary - not confirmed but definitely looking at.

Might see some combiners worked into 25th Anniversary.

All the 25th anniversary they showed comes in as wave 3 of 4 of Universe so probably wont see at the end of Dec 08 or Jan 09.

25th G1-Prime comes out in November, the rest basically end of this year early next.

Wheeljack, Sunstorm or Trailbreaker will they be made? Hasbro said Possibly. Headmasters are on the list along with those 3.

Might see a movie Despensor eventually - the Mountain dew guy.

Takara says MP Grimlock and Thundercracker are whens, not ifs.

Ironhide, Sideswipe and Silverbolt: hell yeah!

Storm Cloud: another wrong name. It should have been Tailwind. Correct that: it should have been skipped completely.

Universe Legends: meh. If they'd be full sized I'd have bought them. G2 Megs looks more like G1 Brawl in tank mode.

Titanium Skywarp: well, all I can say is that is was due.

Breakaway and Fracture: why? Completely new names AFAIK, so who will by them? Crankcase on the other hand is a good choice, especially with the toy having the guns in car mode. Although I'm not going to buy it, it is a pretty good idea. At least a lot better than most other repaints these days.

Dirge, Roadbuster, Springer, Ratbat: just some more repaints they tried to squeeze into a character.

War Within Titaniums: I thought these where cancelled??

I also thought  the titaniums were canceled. Sentinal has  too smaller  legs for his body and no thighs, love the monster truck/snowplow  though. Oh on the torrent is up for mission acomplished im downloading now, but i will not link it,a sit is against the rules. I downloaded elite guard and it played, but return of headmaster was  like battle tech no pics only sound. I think someone said i must not have the codes, im not up on this torrent thing at all. Anyway it should be up op on youtube by tonight by fantransformers. The bumblebee elite gaurd repaint and the white police car bumblebee activator repaint has awakend my fears that we are getting a ton of repaints, and i think Nemie is  going to say  i told you so as he always said we would, read this terrible news
Deluxe Elite Guard Bumblebee - Sept 08 street date (going to be doing more themed repaints due to the equity that they have in some of the main characters)
skywarp [starscream] repaint. I know its cheaper for hasbro to do this than make new moulds, but it makes us all pissed big time.
REPAINT is there a word more dreaded, feared and nightmarish  than that.

Titanium Skywarp is a surprise but they always planned Prowl and Grimlock to be released to end the line

The repaints were to be expected, so there's little point in saying I was correct in foreseeing the inevitable.

I kinda knew about Titanium Skywarp as I vaguely recall seeing it listed in a product catalogue.

And as for Classics Nemesis Prime, I'll be extremely pissed if there is going to be two versions of it because I will undoubtedly cave-in and try to get both.

Some interesting stuff there. Looking forward to seeing some of these figures, especially Jetfire and Jetstorm. Even if they only combine in jet form it'll still be a nice homage to Dreadwing. Looking forward to seeing Shockwave in the Animated style. Things seem to be going pretty well for Hasbro right now. They went through a crap patch with the LAM designs but now they've got both Classics and Animated going and both seem to have been well-received by the fans. I for one think that both series of figures are great in their own individual way. I still prefer the Galaxy Force TV show to Animated as it had a much more epic feel to it but Hasbro are doing alright right now.

Ani. Swoop's alt mode looks a little iffy.
Ironhide gives off a movie vibe.
Im thinking of getting Springer if I can find him since I don't have that mold.

I like the animated Magnus. Might be the only animated figure I buy.

I also like the new paint job on the Fracture/Mirage toy,
