It looks great, but I'd need to know the quality of it before I splashed out £40, wish Hasbro would have released something like this instead of the lazy 'lets paint Prime white so he becomes Ultra Magnus' approach they seem to take.

Since he appeared in Animated I'm really liking UM again, I've almost forgot all those times he got the hell beaten out of him by Galvatron.

I preordered one from BBTS, at least I can back out if it's duff.

Although if it's halfway decent, I'd like to see someone make an upscaled version that could fit on MP Magnus.

I like toys with oversized weaponry, but on him it looks comical.  He can't enough support the weight of it.

I've been considering this for some time now, but having seen that huge gun and the colour scheme at the bottom that's just about sealed it for me. Pre-order ho!

So, over $100 (incl shipping) for an addition to a $15 figure? I think I'll pass.

If it were half that price I'd buy it, but not for $100.

As has been mentioned above a few times now, how can you justify buying an add on for a toy when it costs over 4 times the amount of the original toy?  Even though it does look sooooooooo good!  My mind and my wallet screams out, no chance! My heart is crying IwantitIwantitIwantitIwantitIwantit!!!!

But I agree with Magpiezz earlier comment, Ultra Magnus is an awesome character, he deserved to look like that from the start rather than the old 'paint Optimus Prime white' trick.

It looks great and all, if extraordinarily bulky (all that stuff must impose severe limitations on the figure's articulation, no?), but if it is indeed going for that much money, then I'm passing too.

Wasn't there a new Magnus figure planned for Classics Wave 2 anyway?  Or has that been scrapped?

Yeah, BBTS would be the premier choice for this if you also want to be charged by customs.
