hi guys,

Let you know that new pre order TPB Devastation:

http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Devastation-Simon-Furman/ dp/1600101682/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_b

I like bumblebee's style vehicle..

I'll be getting that as soon as it comes out, but i'm refusing to pre-order it from amazon, because they're bloody useless when it comes to comics. Also bumblebee is bloody upside down. That chest should be his feet. Ruddy ridiculous.

Amazon isn't that bad - at least when they have it in stock.

Play.com are a bit poor when they come to posting graphic novels. They take ages and they don't use rigid envelopes.

I should be holding Devvy in my hands as we speak, but I missed the bloody postman and now I'll have to find the time to retrieve it at the parcels' office.

I'll be picking this up soon. I haven't read any of Devastation yet.

It seems they didn't go with the Bumblebee cover

That figures: every TPB I've had so far sports a different cover to the one that's advertised.

Is that a good or a bad thing?

doesn't matter to me, so long as the story inside is good.

Talking of which, I've finally got my copy: it shows Starscream screaming in some rubble.

I saw it in-store on Monday, but haven't picked it up yet.  Probably should, though, as these things tend to sell out quickly round here...

Just ordered it from Play.com. It should be interesting to read given all the comments so far.

Have they tidied up all the mistakes and annoying bits that made the comic so pants? Speech bubble placement and such?

I had a quick flick through the book when I saw it in-store, and if nothing else, the Galvatron / Nemesis Prime bubble mix-up has been corrected.

Never read the originals so I can't help you on that one. But although I did enjoy the story, I do think that it just stops dead all of a sudden (Sixshot, the Reapers, the Kids and the search for Ironhide got dropped like a bad habit).

My order finally came. They ran out of stock so I've had to wait a couple of weeks. Presentation all seems very good and the first 2 chapters are good reading so far.

The "Earth will have to fend for itself..." page at the back is a nice touch for AHM.
