no its ending after next season (8). This season will have no Lex or Lana and
Kara/ Lois have still not signed

Also they are brining in Doomsday!

f**king Doomsday! This is supposed to be an origin show- Doomsday is as
character a fully developed Superman can barely handle and he is going to
face him as a teen?

Save him for the next movie, Man of Steel!

No way Doomsday will be as ridiculously colossal as he is in the comics, which depict his staure as being about equal to that of the Hulk.

He'll just be a muscular wrestling dude, probably, with some bone extensions protruding from various parts of his body.  Probably a bit like Lou Ferrigno's Hulk, only gray and bony.

And as for Doomsday appearing in the next Superman film, I believe Singer is opting for Brainiac - and a truly terrible plot, if what I've read of it is to be believed.  Seems he's considering doing a 'Batman Begins', and rebooting the Superman franchise...

I spat out my coffee when I first read that John Constantine was from Liverpool. Pity.

What did we think of V for Vendetta then, seeing as we've cited all the other Alan Moore movies as being crap adaptations.

V for vendetta was quite good, but suffered from being the sort of film my missus likes.

I liked V for Vendetta too, Hugo Weaving played the part quite well I thought.

apart from the stupid scene where he makes her breakfast wearing a bloody
apron?

In Dark Knight do you think Batman will wear one? No because it makes the
character look stupid and loses credibility.

Though if you have a home 5.1 system its a great subwoofer film

I think the changes in V made sense, just updating the story by 20 years.

I have faith in Bryan Singer in regards to Superman, but I'm saying that without having read anything about the next one. My hope is that even though people dont like his idea, he will pull it off.

300went from page to big screen and was a massive hit, stuck really close to the original book.  My point being the studios should stick to the idea and not introduce stuff that us fanboys/gals end up crying into our popcorn i.e judge dredd hhmm if only dredd was portrayed properly .  Eventually there will be numerous incarnations/remakes of our fav characters as the film studios struggle for original ideas.

The superhero films i dislike

1. spiderman 3 (even the actors when interviewed gave you the impression they couldent be bothered) 2. lees hulk (what was the plot again? oh it had none) oh and xmen 3 my god i hate that film, killing off xavier, cyclops, jean grey etc etc oh and vinnie jones as juggernaut  thats just wrong wrong oh so wrong lol

X-Men 3 wasn't THAT bad.  Sure, it couldn't compare to the first two films, and suffered from trying to cram 2 major comic storylines into a 2-hour film, but it could have been much worse, i.e. Blade Trinity worse...

It certainly wasn't as bad as Batman and Robin, or Superman IV!!!

Sin City was pulled off very well, looks and feels like the comics (from what i have read)

X3 was good, but it shouldn't have been 1 movie, there was at least 2 movies worth of stuff which was rushed though and the only reason why Scott was killed was because he buggered off the Superman

I thought X3 was horrid- I'm glad it lost money! Rushed, to many characters,
crappy character backgrounds.

Cap America is now confirmed as a WWII film

Thor mainly in Asgard

That grated on me too. Also the 'Eggy in the basket'. What the hell.

Overall I thought the acting in it for the most part (Natalie Portmans rubbish english accent aside) was excellent. Weaving was excellent, Stephen Fry conveyed what he needed to well. My favorite peice of acting was John Hurt though.

I'm not a fan of Moore comic movie adaptions for the most part, but this ones my favorite. I'd have liked them to keep tighter to the original comics though.

I've got those all sitting on my shelf in near mint condition. Love them.

World War II probably means Red Skull, ending in falling into ice. (Then Fury defrosting him after the credits). "Warm Liquid Goo Stage." Sorry to spoil it 2 years in advance.

Thor Asgard.. SG1 anyone? Well If Howard the Duck is topic, then I hated it sorry Casp. The only Duck i enjoy is the 55 at the Peeking Lotus.

WWII guess we get it in the neck again
