Initially it started at a far right blog called Little Green Footballs.  Then the blog, "Sadly, No" started repeating this as a joke.  They satirically stated that the scarf was just like the one Arafat wore.  They also stated that it would be make the right wingers froth at the mouth and go nuts.  They were right.  The (f)right wingers or Freepers (this is the crazy section of conservatism - happen to have access to keyboards that let them type stupid s**t).  So stupid and frothy madness made Dunkin Donuts stop the ad campaign because of a silly scarf.

It's unbelievably stupid.
