I bought the G1 coloured Takara "US Edition" version from Fan 2 Fan and it has the burn marks, I thought the Hasbro version had the burn marks?  I hope I didn't get sent an American toy from Japan...

They have a colour difference.Hasbro's resembles G1 Starscream,TakaraTomy's has a wrong colour scheme which looks more like G1 Thundercracker than Starscream.

I've yet to pick up MP Anime Starscream as I've been distracted with a few TFCs and BTs. 

One thing I did want to ask was whether the light grey colour is paint or is it coloured plastic like MP-03?  I'm just conscious of the stress marks from transforming the original and it's putting me off at the moment.

Also is MP Skywarp black coloured plastic or painted?
