Even though I've got a Blu-Ray player, no way in hell is this a purchase.

So you wouldn't buy it even when it makes its way to the bargain basement bin?

Make its way there? It should f**king be there to begin with. . .just so I can make it feel bad when I rumage through the bin and pick out something better than it. Yes, I just anthropomorphosized a Blu-Ray disk!
I absolutely without a question of a doubt, f**king hate that s**tty little movie.

How could you hate the movie in the first place. Sure, they could have had more charcters but the plot and animations was great. When I went home and watched other sci-fiction movies, I was thinking what the hell is up with the animations?

The plot was no better than that of a standard porn flick, it was only there to fill the gap between Bay's explosions.

I liked the movie, it was a good mindless action film. But I can see where a lot of people didn't like it, though I do think alot of people expected too much of it.

Like they expected salvation. That's hyperbole but it's close.
I, on the other hand, had low to no expectations besides it looking good. I was simply impressed that they (Bay) didn't royally f**k it up. Imagine what it would have been like without Steven Spielberg as exec. producer.

I dunno, he's not immune to making awful decisions. When he was offered the chance to direct the Harry Potter movies, he was adament that he was going to have a fully American cast. I think Speilberg is to blame too.

The plot was awful. As was the score. As was the characterisation. As was the lack of visually recognisable characters. As was the humour.

That's probably movie making politics. You know, "employ name of country here" actors cause that's where I'm from crap.

I know. Its ridiculous though. If I were to make a movie based around another country, I would employ actors from that country. It makes it more authentic.
Can you imagine how much worse the Harry Potter movies would have been with a load of American actors impersonating englishmen and women badly?
Dick Van Dyke or queens english. Thats the only way we speak apparently.

Just for a change, i'm gonna go back on topic and ask - are we gonna be getting any blu-ray exclusive features or new stuff? Or is it just the hd-dvd in a blue box?
