Just a question. Something I tend to do when displaying my figures is remove any transluscent projectiles the figure comes with (placing them nearby usually). Actual missiles I tend to keep in, but those projectiles that by their colouring and comparison to actual animation models are clearly designed to represent 'laser blasts' I tend to remove unless posed specifically in such a way to suggest discharging of weaponry. Is there anyone else who does this or am I just really anal?

well up to you and I always keep all missiles *weapons* in jar and cybertron's cyber keys in box.. than lost easier to replace when you order on ebay.. but I like keep in jar or box easier. if in vehicle and you must carefully when you touch it will shoot you. up to you feeling to be.

I keep all launching paraphenalia in the guns and pose the figure accordingly. e.g., if the projectile represents weapon fire I'll pose them aiming the gun.

I never remove mine from the packaging. I Leave accessories where they are, unless they have another function, eg planet keys or minicons.

Me too.  Unless the projectiles are very cool looking or integral for the 'look' of the weapon.  i.e. Classics Ramjet's missile launchers.
