As its a given that the usual suspects will be going, have we got any plans for post AA larking about or are we just playing it by ear again and spending an hour trapsing round Brum land looking for a pool table?

Errrr... just a quick question...

You ARE planning on registering for AA this year?! lol

I know it's a stupid thing to say but I have noticed people talking on boards - here and other places - saying that they're going but they haven't actually registered when they may think that they already have! Even the guys over at Transformers @ The Moon only recently registered (they had forgotten!) and they've got a table displaying some of their collection again!

What do we fancy, then, chaps?

I know a nice pool hall run by a friendly chap who gives free memberships out to people he likes the look of. The menu includes burgers, kebab and...sirloin steak at £12 a pop, all cooked by the proprieter on a little stove round the back. All beer is in cans/bottles, in a big fridge.

Great tables though, in my opinion.

Actually the Sports Bar we played pool at last time was pretty good too, plus I got more than my money's worth on the LOTR Pinball machine.

I met a girl who works there last New Year's Eve. It was one of the most depressing conversations I've ever had, encompassing her mother who's not her mother having a terminal illness, being left holding the baby, getting beaten up by boyfriends who later propose on Christmas Eve, getting knocked up by men who run off to Liverpool (Prez?) and how the kitchens at the Sports Cafe are quite nice.

She was younger than me, too. I already felt ill, that convo did for me. I went home and saw the new year in by lying on a nice soft bed in a darkened room.
