Trampolines are dangerous! Have you not seen the Simpsons where they get a free trampoline and their backyard becomes a state of war type triage center?
TV will and has informed us of the dangers of... everything! So, in short, trampolines bad. Scooters good.

We've got a little trampoline in our garden (i refuse to call it a trampette, as this is a term i reserve for the teeny daughter next door). It is very good for throwing the cat on when the missus isn't looking.

I would end up stood in the centre of a trampoline frame, having bust the bouncy elastic goodness with my lummox guts.
The cat generally ends up at random places in the garden, although once it did land on the top of the slide and then slide all the way down. Although she was well grumpy at me after that,
