That's even worse. The only similarity between Motormaster and Optimus is that both are trucks. Should every Optimus be repainted as Motormaster from now on? NO!

Titanium Motormaster or Legends Motormaster were bad enough... Perhaps not the figures as such, but the idea of calling them Motormaster.

Umm... those repaints were actually Hasbro's ingenious ploy for a singular fusion of all 5 Stunticons, hence the name Menasor.

EDIT: Never mind, I just ordered this bad boy online.  If my accursed Paypal account can get rid of the gremlins that have been plaguing its setup, then hopefully I'll own it before too long.

I just checked Digital Toys today, and they have this for preorder for August for $47.95

I'm going to stick with my Classics Prime though, $48 is a bit too much for a simple recolour.

The evil clone concept is quite a fascinating one in my opinion.  On the one hand you have the original having to face the darkness within themselves, and on the other you have the clone who'll often despise everything the original represents.
