Hey everybody! I've been getting into Transformers hardcore lately and thought I would join! You can often see me fangirling over Starscream and playing the Transformers soundtrack on full blast. *Air guitars transformers theme*

See, I don't get it. I've always thought women liked confidence in a man. Yet Starscream is the very definition of a wimp, a coward, a missile with a mouth. He talks a good game, but almost invariably goes to pieces at the moment he's actually threatened. He's the annoying kid who talks himself into a fight his big brother has to get him out of.
I'm no expert on the sexual aesthetics of Transformers, and indeed, I feel horrendously ill having written those 4 words. However, Starscream is aesthetically the definition of 'generic', seeing as he's a seeker, like 900,000,000 other Decepticons on Cybertron.
So really, I don't get it. I mean, any of the 'I want to bang a giant robot' thing at all, but I especially don't get why it's almost always Starscream that's the object of the fangirl affections.
I mean, there'd be logic to it being Impactor. Confident, innuendo filled name, and equipped with a mighty harpoon. It's a Viz comic waiting to happen.
Oh, and hello. Good to see some new members, indeed.

I can't speak for others, but I Starscream is my favorite because the rang of expressions that he has. I honestly think he is the most expressive of all the Transformers. As for the whole "I want to bang a giant robot thing" I really think it's a fangirl thing that can't be explained.
