So, after nigh on half a year of waiting and delays, we're finally into the home stretch. Who else has got their pre-orders in and is eagerly counting down till Friday?

I will be getting it, and can't wait for it, the clips of Snakes codec make me want it even more. But.......it's goign to have to wait until I get paid on the 20th, and it will be a choice between that or Battlefield Bad Company at the time.

Yes, but they're not going to be. Smash Brothers only features Nintendo characters. With the current random exception of Snake.

Heh.  Back when nintendo was taking suggestions for Brawl characters, among the characters I suggested were King Hippo, Eggplant wizard, and Simon Belmont.

from what Yahtzee has said you have to unlock snake and sonic, but it does look good, i don't know if i will buy it might as i am s**te at fighting games.

Isn't the Eggplant Wizard a hidden unlockable character? I'm sure I heard somewhere that he is.

Cas have you played Smash Bros. before? Its the easiest fighting game ever, you can get through just button bashing. No long winded Street Fighter style special moves, just press B and a direction.
