Rent it, or buy it cheap. Don't expect much and you may be pleasantly surprised.

Rent it if you can. If you must buy it, get it cheap. It's a fun little game but it's still a movie-based game. All movie-based games generally suck. This one has its draw backs but I enjoyed it. I just wish I hadnt shelled out the major cash on the limited edition. Major regret.

Enjoyable enough, but very VERY repetetive.

I wouldn't recommend spending too much money on it, but It's worth getting from a bargain bucket somewhere. It's nice to switch on the G1 Optimus cheat and just go around kicking stuff, but that kind of emphasises the fact that they really need to do a decent new g1 game.

Tis true. Seem to be selling for about a tenner on eBay, not a bad price at all.

I found it to be rubbish. I rented it and thought it was worthless. There are far better games out there worth a whirl.

...And that game was longer, more challenging and way more fun.

The only major things the movie game had over it were Peter Cullen, Frank Welker & the fact that jumping isn't tied to the L1 button.

Is there any reason why you can't transform in the air (if your an Autobot) or is it just because the game designers were nit-wits

To be fair, you're rather biased given that it's tied to the movie!

A 'Bolt. I actually really liked the armada game. bloody hard in places too.

Maybe so, but for the price asked for this game, there are many many other games worthy of the money. It was average at best.

The Armada game was better. My brother still plays it occasionally.

Never said I didn't agree. I do! It started out ok, but by the third "drive here and do this" mission it gets boring. For the money, it's rather poor.

The designers were more one-thirdwits than halfwits or nitwits. As a Decepticon, you transform and automatically take to the air. Good. But you can't jump, then transform. Ridiculous.

In vehicle mode, you can transform to robot while in the air, but you can't transform back without first falling out of the sky and sliding across the ground for an agonizing amount of time. Remember that scene in the movie of Starscream hopping and transforming from jet to jet? Never gonna happen in the game. Irritating.

...So they got it one-third right.

I really enjoy the Armarda game, and i've never really watched the Armarda series. Thought it was challenging and great fun.

As for the Movie game I thought it was very repetetive and flawed in many places, but as has been mentioned, it is worth a buy if the price is cheap.

I was lucky, i got it for my birthday
