hi guys,

I found about new soundwave helicopter check out in wiki:

[edit] Transformers

Early design for Blackout/Soundwave
Early design for Blackout/Soundwave

Almost from the moment the live action Transformers movie was announced in 2004, producer Don Murphy and the production team made it clear they did not want to feature mass/size shifting in transformation (excluding the Allspark), due to concerns over realism. With this process an inherent part of Soundwave's tape deck alternate mode, there was some discussion over whether or not to change it due to its obsolescence, or to include the character in the film at all. It was announced by Hasbro at SDCC 2004 that movie Soundwave would be a helicopter. [8]

Early leaked movie scripts proposed that his alternate mode would be a helicopter, but animatics shown at the 2005 Comic Con were poorly received. This led to a rethink, with the eventual helicopter character rechristened as Vortex, then finally Blackout.

2006 script reviews named Soundwave as a spying boombox on Air Force One, able to transform into a small robot, but eventually, this character was amended to being Frenzy, with Don Murphy stating that Soundwave will be reserved for a future sequel, until they can "do him right".

In a USA Today online fan poll, Soundwave was one of the 10 Transformers that the fans wanted in the sequel, winning with 20% of the votes.[4]

When the film was released on DVD a special on-line content from Best Buy showed early animation footage of Blackout as a blue helicopter with a head that resembled Soundwave.

[edit] Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Soundwave was recently confirmed to be appearing in Transformers 2 by one of the script-writers, Roberto Orci.[9] His Minions Ravage and Laserbeak are tentatively suggested to appear alongside him.

If ravage and laserbeak are coming does this mean that rumble would also be coming?

I'm glad they have two minions. His Alt mode is the worry for me. I'm prettyy sure they'll have the synth voice and keep his colour scheme relatively nice, but depending on what he transforms into is the killer for me. (and no, I don't want him to Transform into a tapedeck).

i think he's due a revival in Reign of Starscream. Although people who won't have read the comic will probably just think his return is another plot hole.

yeah also for blackout as:Scorponok's current whereabouts, and what effect the death of his symbiotic partner Blackout will have, are unknown... and

According to writer Roberto Orci on the official Transformers Movie board, Ravage was originally going to appear in the movie (back when Blackout was still supposed to be Soundwave)[3], but was later changed to Scorponok when the setting of the opening scene was changed from jungle to desert.[4] This would make Scorponok's scorpion form the robot mode (in the same fashion Ravage's panther mode was the robot mode), whereas his "alternate mode" is actually a part of Blackout's engine.

Jazz: Note: Despite his quite unambiguous death in the film, the packaging for the Target-exclusive Jazz redeco (below) claims he survived and was repaired by Ratchet, choosing new colors because the silver "scratched too easily." Michael Bay disagrees with this, stating emphatically, "Jazz is dead." The bio on the redeco is thus from a micro-continuity.

that what I think about for what alt mode for Ravage and Laserbeak might same as G1's style not sure.. but yeah Frenzy might come back with might new alt mode.
