Agreed whole-heartedly. When I was in the states, I only drank European imported lager. Cost a hell of a lot more but the quality of a mans lager is one of the most important things he needs to consider in his life, moreso than marriage.

I am sure for example that you all base your decisions on where to live by the quality of the beer available in the local offy?

My office is situated less than 100 yards from the nearest bar, and within 5 minutes walk of a further 20 or so establishments.

My house is 5 minutes walk from the nearest offie, 15 minutes walk from a bigger offie, 25 minutes walk from the best off licence in the world (stocks Sam Smiths and all sorts of real ales) and about 15 minutes from various pubs.
