Not sure when they will start the next run of 5, probably October/November. If you look at the planned set of main continuity comics, there will be 2 per month until February, so a Spotlight could be added during any month.

I've left off the 5 part Animated Arrival series starting in August, the Movie Prequel: Saga of the Allspark (4 issues), Time Wars (5 issues), and the MTMTE reprints and other TPBs.
We do have The Thirteen series coming next year and any other 25th Anniversary stuff.

A new spotlight has been confirmed by IDW ... and it's Blurr. Shane 'All Hail Megatron' McCarthy is writing and colours are being done by two TF Mosaics creators.
The comic comes out in December and OneShallStand.com is taking preorders already. Check out Blurr's redesign in this three page preview

Awesome! Have you got a link? Seems like IDW is obsessed with spotlighting Autobots this year (Cyclonus and Doubledealer being notable exceptions). Isn't it about time the cons got some loving? What about Spotlight Blitzwing or Razorclaw. I think I'd enjoy a Swindle spotlight too.

But Swindle has already had quite some focus in the Ultra Magnus spotlight. Sure you can do a lot more with such a swindling character, but I doubt that IDW will do it.

It seems IDW are under the impression that the Decepticons are merely 'Villains of the week' or cannon fodder, they seem to want to consider the Dead Universe baddies and other random threats as a primary threat. That said, I wouldn't mind seeing a Spotlight Thunderwing, just to explain away how he isn't a statue and such. Or a Spotlight Dreadwind or Darkwing, since they buggered off in Stormbringer and haven't been seen since.

Confirmed for the month after Blur, so hopefully its the start of a new series
of them.

The problem with Transformers in general, is that there are so many characters. People want to see loads of different ones, but want a solid story. Getting the balance of page time for minor characters can be difficult.
