probably will be worse, but not necessarily bad. the changes since the pilot do make it seem like they got it wrong the first time.

The Office rermake wasn't too bad at all. You can't go wrong with Steve Carrell as their version of Brent. They didn't just re-cast original characters as Americans either, they made new characters - still fitting the character types of the uk version but it seemed less of a re-make and more of a spin-off.

Not like the shoddy American Red Dwarf. That, were s**te.

American version of Fawlty Towers was the worst. They forgot the characters of Basil and Manuel. Whoops.

I do enjoy the American version of The Office, it's rather good.

American Fawlty Towers!?  That's not right.  Good thing I only found out about this now.  I'm not going to tell my dad, he would cry.

As promised, the US red dwarf pilot, part one, you can find parts 2 and 3 from here, but  doubt you'll want to!

The quality is poor, ...but no worse than the show itself!

US lister went to the heights of male lead in Scary Movie 4, and it only took him another 14 years. Jane Leeves had a lucky escape as Holly, as she was Daphne in Frasier from the year later.
