aye, but a scene transition music, every time we change scene wouldn't be small. It'd just be really cheesy

Agreed. Given that modern movies use several plotlines coming together at the end of the movie, the scene changes would get more and more frequent towards the climax of the movie. It would get unbearable. Plus, scene transitions aren't exactly a part of Michael Bays portfolio, just like he rarely uses wide shots, when I feel that Transformers is a movie that due to its scale could utilize them far better than most movies.
The only wide shot I noticed in the first movie was Bonecrusher dump tackling Optimus Prime off of the motorway. There might be others, but if there was, they are certainly unmemorable. If there was anything I'd like Michael Bay to utilise more in the Transformers sequal from a cinematography point of view, it would be the wide shots. The G1 cartoon if you watch, does have a lot of them. It would certainly be a more welcome addition for me than a cheesey and obtrusive scene change nano-score.

I'd want to have a Stan Bush song played on a radio or something in the film, as was hoped for in the first film. Either one of his older tracks from circa the original movie, or even the new track he submitted for the film that was rejected.
Either that, or perhaps give Stan himself a cameo appearance in the film. |

Good point, I missed that thought there might have been a nod, but then again it is a Bay Movie "it's all about me" Maybe in the second..we might get some class..

Yeah and I didn't mean it to be used every time. Just once. That's all. I think it could be done well.
But obviously, I am in the minority.

The scene change music could work as a ring tone or text alert (actually, is it available as one anyway?)

With Wave Converting and a little time and effort any ring tone is possible, and the changing Scene is available,as I have it as well everyone else here on the Forum,I think! I had "it's over Prime" on my last phone as a message tone, and The Touch....
As for Nods to the movie stuff like nods to the predecessors' (hope that's right? big word and early in the morning) are quite cool if done right and not over done.

I agree with Galvanise on the use of wide shots. Bonecrusher was the best (for me, anyway) piece of action in the film because it seeme far more thought out than the rest. I'd like to see more composed battle scenes in the sequel.

I also agree. This was my main criticism of the battle scenes. In a thread long, long ago.

I'd also like more and more human characters walking around nodding their heads in suggestive ways.

Uranus is still within our galaxy. Though, it is a planet far, far, away... from Venus. Maybe not that far.
