I realise this question is almost completely worthless due to it's subjective nature and all the different changables involved; but roughly, how much do you guys budget for the actual event?

Well If I was Specs and Wreck and Rule I'd say a tenner for the Event and a Grand for the Pub after.
However, I take what I would eventually like to have, know the rough asking price always helps, then maybe 2 to 300 Quid on top of that for any "must haves" You'll be lucky to grab all that you need, so you could be in pocket. Either way tis a safe bet, to not exceed your limit.

I should be able to take PayPal on my table so if anyone does run out of money at AA and has a PayPal account (and credit/debit card tied to it) then they'll be good to go at my table

Typically a couple of hundred. This year I'm not planning on buying so much though.

Having not been to a conventon since 2002, what are the chances of dealers having the Classics 2.0 figures over from the States? That's the only line I collect and I'll get them if I can for a decent price. If I can't I'll take very little as I'm not interested in getting anything else.

I wouldn't be surprised if they hit the stores over here before the show.  Many items in the movie range and Animated range have hit stores over here within 2-3 weeks of the states.  We've already got some of the Universe Legends in TRU so I'm holding back from getting any just in case they end up in TRU beforehand.

Spacebridge takes cards, for the others assume cash-only. Although T4E does use Paypal mobile.

Expensive Dave has to take cards, no one can safely carry around the sort of cash he asks for goods ;)

It's better than PayPal mobile this year...... I've got a laptop with full broadband connection on my table so all anyone has to do is log into their PayPal account and pay that way.

If anyone hasn't got a PayPal account, just goto www.paypal.com and sign up, then register your credit card there, then you'll be good to go on my table!
