Well I for one don't want subtitles. I agree, we can read but having o sit and watch an English movie have subtitles is just dumb. I don't care about explanations, they just need English. Heck, a movie is not meant to be read (well, if you're the viewer and you're watching it, it's not). Plus, the previous subtitles were so tiny.

Also the more effort they go to to design a cybertronian language, the sooner it'll be before some übergeek decides to write a cybertronian dictionary and we'll be left with a new version of the bloody klingon nonsense off of trekkies. And we're sad enough without some fat american ultragonk going and making it worse.

Yet another M. Bay Plot hole that the producing team forgot to plug up.
It wasn't shown in the movie, but a bit after the Optimus Prime Vs.
Bonecrusher battle, Opt. Killed Baricade.
By the way, does anybody know why the coolest and most loved
characters
get killed in behind-the-scenes comics? First Chewbacca, now Barricade?
Barricade should have lived! So, I clap for Michael Bay's plot holes XD

The death of barricade has been written out of the canon now, as shown in Reign of Starscream. Looks like he's back for the new movie too. Which is probably a good thing.

I definitely see that happening... More subtitles, a developed Cybertronian language, some geeks write a dictionary (not us, I mean the aformentioned obese geeks who watch stuff all day long and memorise whole episodes of stuff) and before we know it, Transformers is just another Star Trek (which personally I hate because every time I see a bit of Star Trek, I go crazy and change the channel or turn off the TV OR run into my room, close the door and watch Transformers  ).
