I thought that Jetfire/Skyfire/Skyblast(exactly which name will be used is debatable) was an Autobot, not a Decepticon.

Eventually, yes, but was originally a Decepticon. (Or at least he was allied to the decepticons) How he comes to join the Autobots depends on what canon you're following.
