No, don't try it. It's stupid. It gets worse - apparently the staff then just put the returned figure back on the shelves. It's therefore possible to find a Transformers box with something completely different inside. I think it happens in the USA more than here but I bet some people do it here.

it happened with an xbox 360 too i believe; someone took the internal organs out and returned just the shell with a phone book inside and got a brand new 360!
