I agree. Apparently it's a really good issue (again!)

To be fair it would have only hit retailers this morning- what do you want,
then couriered to your homes?

Yes! I don't mind the few days wait. It's a lot better than every other industry that makes Europe wait months.

Another good issue from the nearly-redeemed Furman. I enjoyed it more than AHM.
I'm now upset that it supposedly gets resolved in the next two issues. I can't foresee it being good from here on, sadly.

I felt it was a bit lacking. But seeing the Autobot Pretenders in there makes me wonder what they will do or more likely become.
Is Revelation the last in this _tion series? If so I don't see it covering everything really. If not I could see it going on forever like Lost.
I would really like to see Nemesis Prime get a Spotlight or some cover artwork

Good and bad stuff in equal measure this time i think... (Spoilers!)
Good...
Autobot pretenders going into the dark universe. Yay
Jetfire finally giving characters a namecheck, which is something furman has been reluctant to do.
Hard Head's 'Hard Head' made me chuckle, as did his shouting of 'head on!'.
Nightbeat getting offed, as I've never liked the guy. Although it would have been nice if he'd at least had a go at offing prime once.
Bad...
Piss-poor felt tip black colouring on some of the sillouette frames.
Thunderwing going from big scary 'stormbringer' to doorman. They need to give that guy some character, if only making him go 'Rarr' once in a while.
The micromasters could just have been given their 'earth-style' modes rather than their wonky alien designs, it would have made them more recognisable.
Jhiaxus just seems like a snivelling sidekick, and not as much of a threat as he was back in g2.
Oh, and Nemmynova has a bloody evil matrix in his chest, that's just lazy.

I thought it was alright. Wasn't overjoyed to see Nightbeat get offed after being so heinously wasted by IDW (his Spotlight was crap), but Hardhead's characterisation was great.
I'm also a bit of a Micromaster fan, so it's again disappointing to see them all lumped together as a homogenous group of separatist threats to all Transformers, rather than keeping them separate as simple units in each army.

I'd like think the Micromasters will get their turn at some point. It was suggested on another board I went to that the population of Gorlam were being turned into Micromasters, and if this is true they could be more like zombies or Frankenstein's at the moment. They'll evolve into the characters they are supposed to be in the fullness of time, I hope.
On the other hand doesn't everyone remember Dreamwave's Micromaster series? That attempted (albeit without any great success) to flesh out the characters, and was pants. I hate to say it but Bob Budiansky did a better job, and his story was some tut about TFs wrestling.
Apologies to anyone kept waiting for Hardhead through my actions (or lack thereof). I went away for the week, fully expecting Hardhead to come out a week later than it did, so the books got posted a couple of days later this month. Normal service will resume from here on.

Awww baxy, You're forgiven. Are you off to aa? Wouldn't mind putting a face to the faceless capitalist comic shop man.
As for dw's micromasters rubbish, that suffered from much the same problems as bw's the ascending, too many characters and too much plot squashed up into four messy issues. That, and kup going 'Argh stasis lock!'
I think leaving the micromasters characterless for the time being will help the story flow better, but ideally i would like it if they chose sides instead of just being mean midgets.
Also, isn't sunstreaker due to go into the dead universe at one point, as hinted at in furman's mosaic? And what the hell happened to Carlos and Verity? Are they dead? Are they vegetables? Why won't they tell me?!?

I expect Furman thought he'd be able to explain things like the fete of Jimmy and Verity and other dangling plots at his leisure. That's why there are so many balls in the air so to speak.
But IDW went and hired Shane McCarthy to provide a 'new direction' and suddenly Simon's story is a side attraction. I doubt IDW would admit that but it's how it seems to me. I think Mr F's doing sterling work adapting his Revelation script to the constraints of the Spotlights format, and I'd support him to the ends of the Earth - the man is a legend. I'm sure we'd never hear him complain about being taken off the main book, but he's obviously having to rethink his plans for upcoming stories.
So I'd expect Revelation to explain the dead universe stuff and give it some sort of resolution, perhaps with a revisit in a future spotlight or mini. All the Earth stuff will get sorted by Maximum Dinos presumably, and we know there are something like four other comics after that to bridge the gap between Revelation and All Hail.
Sadly I'm not going to be at AA (alchie's anonymous? ) but you can put a face to this faceless capitalist by going here

Well I'd be happy to send you one. You'll have to weigh up the postal cost (76p) with the time and effort of going to your LCS.
For that matter there are still a couple of the retailer incentives available. I'm not sure what the going rate is for these at the moment but mine are same price as the regular issues.
