Hi
Does anyone know if Classics 2.0 or Universe  has been released yet or when in the UK?

I believe Hasbro UK has them up for sale at £13(?) for Sunstreaker and Prowl.

They have been found over in Smyths in Ireland this or last week i believe. 13 Euros. I believe we will get them for the normal deluxe price.

I've seen some in a few small Essex toy shops already. The new Argos catalogue will have them on Saturday as well and some stores already have them in:

Universe Deluxes: 369/7795
Universe Voyagres: 369/8048

Of course at the moment, Argos have them listed at being £9999.99 each

Argos must be really pissed at us to do that.  Spoilsports, you'd think they would welcome the early trade.

That's nothing. Zimbabwe had an official inflation of 2.2 million % on July 16th. They are planning on releasing a Z$100 billion note!

I've seen some in my local toyshop, Sunstreaker, Prowl and Octane are each priced at £9.99 each. But this toyshop does get American toys in though, so they're probably imports.

Some people are going Taraka than Hasbro now to due the increase. How many of you guys are going that way?

I know I want Henkei Powerglide, Octane for sure and maybe Silverbolt.

Hopefully picking up Sunstreaker tomorrow.

Japan has had its fair share of price increases in the last year.  So don't go thinking the other ship is any better.

I'm going for Henkei for most of them with the exception of repaints and those with significant differences ie Powerglide but thats more because I think they look better rather then price

With importers like Xybertoys its not too big of a difference though.

I wonder why Hasbro started increasing costs for Universe and not Animated? Adult collector?

Hopefully quality is better on the Universe than the Animated.

With Universe being aimed more at the adult collector market I wouldn't mind paying a small increase in price if it meant that the figures were of better quality. I wouldn't mind seeing figures with that black wash that a lot of Hasbro's promotional shots have. I'll probably go with Henkei for as many of the figure as possible given the current situation though. Except maybe Powerglide - Takara's version may be more accurate to the original in terms of colour, but I think the Hasbro one looks better.

Oh there is, but they can make their prices seem fairer by altering the markup margin.

It's not too often that Hasbro turn out a product that is considered superior to Takara's version of the same thing, eh?

What are the other Ultras in stock anyway?

I got Sunstreaker! Hes transformation is tight due to the tabs around the doors.

Quality seems better than the Animated.

By the time i got there, they only had the one figure in stock. My guess is that Powerglide should be avaiable as well
