Have they been released in the UK before the US? Because last I heard, they were scheduled for August.

It looks like it. Can't remember seeing any reports about anything other then legends and deluxes having been sighted in the US

Edit: Scrap that. Just seen a few sightings over on Seibs for the US. Seems more like the ultras and voyagers were released at the same time

Has anyone been into Argos to find out what characters come in the assortments?

In the catalogue it says there's 8 deluxe, 5 Voyager and 4 Ultra ones to collect but there's no mention of what characters are in the set.

I only seen Sunstreaker and Octane/Tankor.
I assume Voyagers are only repaints of Soundwave and the Quickmix.

E. Does those numbers refer to number of different figures? If so, I don't believe there are that many figures in the first wave but maybe what known currently in the line?

That's how many there'll be between now and the next catalogue in January.

The catalogue just says "8 to collect" or whatever over the pictures.  I'm hoping they'll add some of the first wave to the mix so I can get Astrotrain

The new Argos catalogue was out Saturday and there are plenty of listings for Universe and Animated. The store I went in had Universe Prowl but the cheeky f*ckers at Argos have put the price up on Universe deluxes to £13!. As if £10 for a deluxe wasn't enough! I still picked up Prowl though. They also had Animated deluxes at the regular price of £10, so I don't know why the Universe ones went up, and I managed to get Blackarachnia.

The catalogue also has listings for Universe Ultra and Voyager price points at the regular price. The Argos I went in had Universe Heavy Load as well as Prowl, but I didn't pick him up.

I've heard something about Hasbro putting their prices up but thought it was just the america divison. Maybe it's filtered over to the UK as well.

I picked up Onslaught and Powerglide today and the three deluxes on Saturday.

The ultras are very nice.

If you check Hasbro UK's shop its the same.

But I must say, why didn't they just spread the cost around

Of course it is, we're still barmy enough to pay what they're asking.  So who are we to complain about it?

Exactly, so long as you pay the price the botching is meaningless. The best protest to make is, if you dont like something, don't buy it.
