Hmm

I have mixed feelings about these Classics figures. They are an excellent idea, but Hasbro don't seem to put as much effort into finishing them as Takara do.

All of the Henkei releases look way better - particularly Starscream. I was very disappointed with the US version, poorly painted and looks like a cheap foreign copy!

Why is it that Hasbro can't take as much care with their product as their japanese partner?

They aren't lazy as such.  It's just their main demographic doesn't give a s**t for such minor details.  Japan on the other hand has to focus their attention there because the adult collector is the primary source of revenue.
