Of course it's the first two strips of the UK comic - it's reprinting the stories for the American audience - that's the whole point.
I got it because its a way of collecting the stories in a much more compact format. The Titan comics strike me as being aimed at a child audience first and foremost, hence the free gift with every issue and the size of the panels (which should be smaller and more of them).
On the other hand Simon Furman's stories are still adult enough to be appreciated across the age spectrum, which is why the Saga of the All Spark reprints are ideal. It's cuts out all the superfluous stuff like the free gifts and back-up strips (which I have anyway) and just gives you the main strips, which are the most important thing anyway.
