thought id post pics up of my first custom, as some of my topics ive been asking for a lot of help and some info regarding doing an evil jetfire
well, ive sort of finished it, but im having to stop as i need my work bench due to my car engine needs fixing and my airbrush has packed up
so next week ill buy a new airbrush and start again when i get the car sorted but for now im happy with the outcome, though there are some major mistakes
i used tamiya acrylic paints, and clear for the sealer
i did want it grey but couldnt find a gre i wanted so he went black with purple, so kinda like skywarp colours, fast packs are dark grey, but i need finish them as i missed some masking when doing the black and they need clear coating aswell
the purple is game workshops purple which dires flat instaed of gloss, overall for my first i dont think i did too bad lol, though i need to work on my sanding and filling and using the correct grade of paper as there is a few prep marks in there still
so i hope you like here some pics

and don't smoke so much, did it cost that many nerves? Looks good matey, not a fan of the colour TBH but the finish is impressive.

I wouldn't call that an evil Jetfire. It looks more like Skywarp disguising himself as a Valkyrie.

problem is, the colour i wanted i couldnt get whch was like a very pale bluey grey
so i ended up going black with purple, yes when i did it i thought skywarp lol
but its the opposite to white so i can call it an evil jetfire
i havnt finished yet, i need to finish the armour offand get some stickers from reprolabels
buts its my first custom and im happpy the way it went

RichyX. That's an incredible job. Taking it all apart, painting, putting it back together and it transforms; amazing. I could never undertake something like that without royally bunging it up.
I have one small criticism. Across the nose part of Evil Jet Fire, right where the cockpit begins, you have a band of gray. I think it would look better if you would paint over it with black.
I can find no fault with anything else. To me, it's the only sticking point that I can see. It's the only part you painted that doesn't seem to fit with the colour scheme you have going. Dammit, the rest is near perfect!
