I know the info on the transform sheets that comes with the action figures is copyrighted, but any chance that there exists some personal website where someone outlines how to transform (say, Optimal Optimus or Dragon transmetal Megatron)? I bought them off ebay and their transform sheets weren't included. THanks.

there used to be a site called TF racetrack that contained scans of a lot of the instruction sheets...unfortunatley it no longer seems to exist.

TF racetrack is unfortunately offline but a fan called fortmax has mirrored the entire site and added more scans to it you can find it at http://fortmax05.10gbfreehost.com/ for newer intructions you can find them on the official transformers website

why do you need instructions?
ive bought nearly all my TF's/beast wars figures from car boots/ charity shops and always transformed them
my advice is to just attempt it different ways!
its fun that way!

I always try to transform them without the instructions first. I only ever read them once. The only exception I kind of have is the combiner limbs for the TFCC collectors club. I couldnt work out exactly how to turn the helicopter into an arm or leg, so I had to dig out my Bruticus.

I wouldn't dare to transform the expensive toys I get without instructions. I don't want anymore mishaps like my Yamato VF-1S happening again.

Yeah, there's a guy called KalelPrime who has a TF Masterclass every week where he reviews a TF, gives the characters history and shows you how it transforms. I'll give you a link to his YouTube channel site (You have to really search for the masterclasses since he has around 220 videos on that site!):
http://www.youtube.com/user/KalelPrime
Hope you find this useful.
(By the way, I have a boxed Dragon Megatron in my collection, but I'm still scared of opening that thing! If I pluck up the courage, I'll see if I can scan the instruction for you).
