I lost the old thread on here so I thought I'd start a new one with a little bit of news for you all.
We've got a few new stores opening soon. I can't remember where they all are but the ones I do remember are:
White City in London (to compete with Hamleys) Derby Meadowhall in Sheffield and a new one in Bristol.
I'm sure there's a couple more because the Sheffield one will be number 50. Most of them should be open by the end of October if not sooner.

Probably will be actually. The other 2 stores I found out today will be in Brighton and Margate.

The Brighton one has caught my attention. Do you know whereabouts in Brighton it'll be located?

I have no idea where either of them will be, but chances are if there was a toymaster or toyworld in the town/city then it'll be where that used to be, cos I'm sure the big boss has bought some of their stores.

Ok, bit of good news/bad news now.
The good news is that we're supposed to be getting more varieties of the Universe line in store soon (if they're not already). The bad news is that I saw the deluxe ones on the system today priced at £14.
The other sizes are the right price though.

Big update now. We had a delivery in today and there were loads of Transformers on it.
We had the Universe Deluxe wave 1 (Prowl, Sunstreaker and Tankor), Universe Ultra (Onslaught and Powerglide), more Universe Legends, Leader Class Bulkhead, some Optimus Prime Voice Changers (movie ones), some Optimus Prime transforming gun/arm thingy and the Supreme Roll Out Optimus Prime (which looks f**kin awesome, his mouth moves and everything). If you check on our website there's a bit on the blog about new transformers coming soon.
Not only all that, but as I was leaving today an email came through to say the deal of the week next week was changing from the Simpson's operation to something from transformers, but I don't know what. Don't get your hopes up too much though, it'll probably just be either this or Risk.
Last piece of news now, the new Derby store is in the Westfield shopping centre. They had a delivery today too .

Ok, I've found out what the deal of the week is and it's the Starscream Blaster thingy. I think it's about £15 but don't quote me on that, after my initial "oh is that it?" moment I didn't really bother to look any closer at it.

Just to let you all know that The Entertainer's should now have Animated wave 3 in stock. And for anyone interested the Sheffield store has it's grand opening next Saturday (11th Oct) but they'll be doing a soft opening a few days before.
Lastly, this will likely be the last Entertainer news you'll get from me as I'm handing my notice in tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to find out bits and pieces but no one there really gives a s**t about Transformers so they won't care enough to get me any info

Off to pasties new huh? Entertainer never seem to have any decent sales,
which is a shame otherwise I'd use them more.

Yeah it's in Meadowhall, apparently it used to be toyworld or toymaster.
If you think the sales at The entertainer are crap then if you go to Sheffield on the grand opening day you should be able to speak to Gary Grant (the owner of the company) and tell him so.
I was thinking of changing my username but "carphone Warehouser" just sounds a bit crap
