Thanks to The Arker and Seibertron.com member Real Devastator, we get our confirmation and box images of TRU Exclusive Reissue Perceptor. Perceptor as well as the Insecticons were first found in a Canadian TRU Computer listing, under the Reissue tagline. With these images, Transformers fans can expect Perceptor and the Insecticons to be arriving at TRU in the upcoming year.

Nice idea Hasbro, but how about reissuing something thats not already been reissued? That said, i'm sure there are folk who missed the TFC and China KO reissue. Not for me., although this was more the kind of activity I'd exoect in an anniversary year.

Pretty cool for those who don't have it. I'd like them to reissue some of the other ones they did a while back. I missed out on Tracks and Sideswipe.

Perceptor is an excellent figure, and well worth a punt if you've not got him.

True, but the robot mode is excellent, with articulation at the shoulders, elbows and knees. The head can't move, but there's no mis-proportioned limbs and the colourscheme makes him look very sharp.

The alt mode is (literally) perfectly functional, although its a shme that this is only a 1x microscope unlike the original Diaclone version which could magnify up to 15x. As a carry over from the toys origins in Microman, the toy also has a manned cannon mode.

As well as a rifle, Perceptor also has a hand held missile launcher.

The toy probably rivals Soundwave in terms of design, aesthetics and execution. It has aged very well too!

It's a great figure but most collectors would have picked up the TakTom re-release already.

A western release of MP Grimlock is what I'm waiting for.
