hey!
new to the forum so heres a lil recap:
been getting more and more into transformers since the promo phase of the first action film. since then ive basically been watching thru all the G1 series (im now well into Takara) and have started going thru the forums and started a nice marvel 80's tf comic collection. :)
so my question is should i come up to brum for AA?
and how much would it be all-in, like for a room (if there are even any left!) and the pass for the whole weekend?
any help would be great
cheer!

Weekend pass will cost you £45 and that will get you unlimited access to the convention all weekend from 6:00 pm Friday night until around 8:00 pm Sunday. Apart from spending money on toys, food, drink and hotel bill, that's all you'd need unless you decide to go along to the movie screening of Revenge Of The Fallen that we're working on! lol

You'll automatically get the goodie bag which stands at 12 gifts and counting right now so no matter what, you won't go home empty handed!

Travel costs... depends on where you're coming from but there are plenty of cheap train/coach deals if you know how to look for them and I'm happy to help out there and it's the same with the hotel. We have got a reduced rate in the Holiday Inn of £65 a night for a single with breakfast but there ARE cheaper hotels in Birmingham and obviously you can save money if you go for the room share option with someone.

The sooner the better to be honest! Some of the gifts in the goodie bag are limited and while some of these have already been fully allocated, there is one that is limited to the first 478 attendees and we're only a couple of weeks away from that number to be completely honest.

I don't know how many rooms the hotel has left, but it's always wise to book sooner rather than later, although as I said there are other hotels around but a lot of these are filling up as well. We're fast approaching 400 pre-registrants now so a lot of these are going to want hotel accommodation in and around the city centre if not the convention hotel itself so it really is a case of get in quick before someone else beats you to it! lol
