Ok, I've FINALLY wrapped up the first War Within installment...
It's taken longer than I expected, but virtually every main character in that series has been done. From the major players like Optimus Prime, Megatron and Starscream, to the likes of the Insecticons and Constructicons, through to even 'cameo' characters such as Ratchet and the Battlechargers!
So, here are Shrapnel and Trailbreaker for your viewing pleasure!

There are now 33 WW sprites done, and now I can move on to begin work on some IDW series! I'm kicking things off by alternating between the Infiltration and Hearts Of Steel series. I've already done Infiltration Megatron and HOS Bumblebee, so hopefully it shouldn't take too long to get through them. HOS in particular only had around 10 characters, so I may draw them first and then follow up with Infiltration.
Anyway, commentage, por favor.

When can we expect some tf animated sprites then? Or would their inherent bendyness make them difficult to do?

If motormaster can do diagonal lines at odd angles (which he can) then the Animated ones I can't see as being a problem meself.
Looking forward to seeing more!

Here's a special sprite, just for Ravage! As I was completing the WW lineup, I PM'd Ravage to tell him I was going to post up the WW Ravage sprite for him, to make up somewhat for the teeny G1 Ravage I posted way back in the early days of this thread. Unfortunately, I couldn't nail him to my satisfaction, so for now, he's been shelved...
So, to compensate, here's my first new Alternator/Binaltech sprite - Battle Ravage! This guy was actually less troublesome to draw than his WW incarnation, although the head did present a couple of head-scratching moments, due to its unique shape. And since the Alt Ravage toy shares a mold with Swerve and Tracks, I've recoloured and redrawn Ravage to create those 2 characters as well!

TF Animated sprites? Hmm, I'll look into it...

Just finished HOS Shockwave last night. He's been drawn on the same scale as G1 Jetfire, due to the fact that he's a warship and all - it stands to reason that he should be bigger than the locomotive characters in the story.
Anyway, Starscream is up next, and I'm anticipating one or two difficulties with this one, due to the complexity of his design. However, I'll give it my level best, as always!
Watch this space!!

Righty-o, the Hearts Of Steel roster is finished. Didn't take too long to get through them all, seeing as there were only about a dozen characters to do. The list on page 1 is updated with the complete lineup, plus the new Alternators I got through a couple of weeks back. And here's Starscream! He's much wider than any other standard-size TF sprite, due to the huge wings he's sporting. Also, since there are actually two designs for Starscream in this series, I've incorporated elements from both designs to create a 'hybrid' Screamer. Hope you like!
Now that the HOS series is done, it's time to begin work on Infiltration. Megatron was drawn weeks ago, and I'll make another update when the other mechs from that series are drawn. I'll try to fit in a couple of Animated characters too, just for the Fudgester!

Yeah, Prime was a locomotive in the HOS series. Well, conceptually at least, since he didn't actually feature in the story!
Anyway, IDW's Infiltration cast are done as of today. I've left out Prime though - since he only appears on the final page of the series, and only actually comes into play in the Escalation series, I'm going to draw him when I move on to the new characters who were also introduced in that series (including the Earth-mode Megatron). So here's Prowl, the last Autobot in the series to get drawn. Time to have a look at the Animated characters now, maybe....

I googled me a pile of TF Animated pics last night to use for drawing some new sprites. Due to not having watched the series yet, I didn't even know that Blitzwing was in it! I'm away on holiday to the Outer Hebrides for a week as of Friday to visit some family, so it'll be at least a week (probably more) before I'm able to actually get any Animated characters drawn. But when I do, you'll see 'em here first!
