Just got wind of another Tekken 6 Xbox 360 rumour.
Apparently it was in a Gamespot video that was taken
down.

So, were we all right all along? Haha.

If true, this is the reason for the massive delay.

EDIT: Correct!

Sony's conference is later today.

Hasn't been what I expected from Sony, but I'm too busy playing Uncharted, and loving it! The only bit of good news from Sony is that Home is out next month (apparently).

Overall TGS has been a bit dull. Not as bad as E3 but nothing really unexpected or revolutionary to speak of. Still 13 days until LBP!

TGS was crap. No Team ICO, and bugger all good games.
The bloody Final Fantasy Trailers were in the mega
theater, and I already knew that the Princes name had
something to do with 'night' as I'd heard it was going
to be Nacht, instead of Noctis.

Sony's conference, which wasn't actually a conference
was based on PSN and connectivity with the PS3 and the
PSP.

Uncharted is indeed good. The sequel is under
development, and I'm hoping its going to be excellent
too!

I'll tell you something, I consider myself to be pretty good at video games

BUT

Ninja Gaiden II- is bloody tough, maybe after some practice I'll improve, but
right now its beyond me!

Tell me about it. The time I've had playing with it got
very frustrating too. The camera didn't make things
easy, but even if it was perfect, the game would be hard
as hell. Some review sites actually docked it for being
so hard if I recall correctly.

Good game though. Sometimes its so hard that it ruins
the fun of it though, tis a bit of a double edged sword.

I played the demo and I quite enjoyed it. But then I think that the demo did give me all the weapons from the start as a teaser, which made it somewhat easier.

Most demos are set on easy so that the player feels like
a god. The DMC4 one was ridiculously easy.

The PS3 version of Bioshock has an official Bioshock 2
teaser trailer as an unlockable.

Galv & Rodimus I've deleted your last few posts in this thread. Don't make me lock the whole thing.

Clearly the red pen is in force- fair enough!

I will say this, much as I like salad cream, if someone wants not to use it, I
dont see the problem!

Ok- well Little Big Planet has been delayed.

Can't say I'm bothered as I'll have Fable 2 to play though, but not good from
Sony's POV as it's their game of the month (if not quarter).

for the most part I echo your sentiments regarding the topic you and Galv were discussing, I just felt some of your later comments toward him went a little too far mate that's all.

Hmm, seems I missed something.  Oh well.

Anyone see the NPD statements for september?  Sony really make me laugh:

"PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) again experienced consistent momentum in September 2008, with 232,408 hardware units sold according to The NPD Group, an increase of over 94% year-over-year and an increase of more than 25% over the previous month"

August = 4 weeks of sales counted
September = 5 weeks of sale counted

Which means sales are...Exactly the same.  Heh.

On the games front, I'm almost 75% of the way through Wario now, far longer then it took with megaman 9, though I am finishing all the missions before going on to the next level.  It truly is great.  Some of the reviewers say it's too short, and that the missions are just a way of lengthening it, but I disagree.  If this was the case, the missions would range between ridiculously easy to impossible, but I never get the sense of that, they are all excellently balanced, as the levels get harder, so do the missions, and the levels seem to have been designed with the missions in mind, so that some of them are *just* possible.  A very good game.
